Can I use other software on the same computer as BioScan?

Can I use other software on the same computer as BioScan?

IHT requires the computer running our software to be dedicated to only the use of the IHT device. You are the owner of your computer and you may do as you wish, but may run the risk of conflicts when other software is installed. Some applications also use the same Interbase database system as BioScan software(s). In those cases, the other software might supersede our software and cause database issues. Some applications are also known to take exclusive control of resources such as USB or COM Ports used to communicate with an IHT device. Use of your computer for other tasks increases your risk of getting a virus or other malicious programs despite having antivirus installed on the computer.
